I have always wanted to paint. Luckily I discovered my zest for painting at a younger age than Grandma Moses.  However, I was still 42 before I ever picked up a paint brush for the first time. At that time I needed a diversion during a very rough spot in my life and it worked.

Stenciling seemed to be the safe way to go at first. I painted lots and lots of flower pots!  However, the limitations of that style became frustrating.  That was when the One Stroke method of freehand painting came to my attention and I have been delighted ever since.  With the One Stroke method alone or combined with crackle and faux finishing, I've painted almost every suface in sight.

I especially love to hear people say, "Oh, I never thought about painting THAT!"  My husband says he's glad he's not bald or else he'd have daisies painted on his head.

The One Stroke method makes painting any surface quick and fun.  Wall art has become my greatest painting passion.  I get many requests for various vines.  Topiaries add elegance to spaces.  Faux headboards are my newest passion.  I have developed a new Painting Guide Stencil that you can order.

I have felt so blessed with this new direction my life has taken that I want to share it with any of you beginners who are interested in arranging a class. It wasn't too late for me at 42 and it isn't too late (NOR too hard) for you either.

Happy Painting,
Ve
